Artist's Description
Symbolic of time wasted yet spent during my life, this painting represents the fishes nearest to me: Depression and myself (me). From the bleeding brain (thoughts and feelings of hopelessness gone mad), to the pooling of said thoughts on the surface (representing what's been), to the larger of the two fish forever lurking in the background (of my mind and being, the canvas), to the faint reflections unlike reality (I understand perception is not often reality), to the foreground of rock (being near rock bottom, when at the lowest points), and to other graphic hints of my existence; they're there, as am I. The two fishes.
